An experimental portable client targeting Windows XP SP3 and later. It brings the shared chat interface and a device-local file workspace to older hardware. Real-device compatibility is still being tested.

Get started.
- Download and extract the portable ZIP on your Windows machine.
- Open merciful-ai.exe in the extracted folder.
- Use Merciful’s backend or configure your own compatible model endpoint.
This client uses files in its own browser storage and a small set of JavaScript tools. Its older NW.js runtime has compatibility and security limits; beta availability is not a guarantee for every old PC.
